  • Responsibilities include
    • Maintaining records as required by FDA per Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) §812.14

    • Submitting progress reports on the investigation to the Sponsor and the reviewing IRB at regular intervals

    • Reporting of complications, adverse events and unanticipated adverse device effects, and a review of source documents

    • Verifying that the Case Report Forms (CRFs) are in agreement with the source documentation and other study- related records available at the site

    • Evaluating wound size by photographic data and tracing data at primary endpoint (16 weeks)

    • Correlating with clinically collected data for full wound granulation and complete wound closure
