Patrick Meyer, DPM

Dr. Meyer is a passionate podiatrist that was first drawn to the profession because of the interest and challenge of disease and injury involving the lower extremity. He has since built a career that focuses on providing each patient with quality care.

Dr. Meyer’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin College followed by a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, Summa Cum Laude, from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed the AO Trauma Dr. Meyer is originally from Jenison, Michigan, and has spent his professional career assisting podiatry patients with various foot and ankle ailments.

His educational background includes a degree in Biology from Calvin College, followed by a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete a Surgical Residency specializing in advanced foot and ankle surgery at Detroit Medical Center, a Trauma Fellowship at St. Vincenz and Elisabeth Hospital in Mainz, Germany, and a Diabetic Foot Fellowship at Wayne State University.

Dr. Meyer is board certified in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery and reconstructive foot surgery. Additionally, he serves as a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University and is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Meyer is also a proud member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and currently maintains the position of Medical Director at the Walker Surgical Center.

In addition to his educational and professional pursuits, Dr. Meyer also has worked closely with Healing the Children to help a child from the Dominican Republic receive proper podiatry care.
