John Sakla DPM

Dr. John Sakla grew up in the west suburbs of Chicago, where he has lived his entire life. He attended University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Dr. Sakla is a sports and fitness enthusiast and brings his unique perspective to podiatry and his approach to patient care.

A graduate of William M. School College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Dr. Sakla completed a residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Rear Foot Reconstruction and Ankle Surgery at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Rosalind Franklin University of Health and Science.

Dr. Sakla treats his patients as if they are members of his family and provides complete foot and ankle care through evidence-based medicine while utilizing the latest treatment options. He recognizes that each patient has unique needs and is committed to offering a consultative approach to treatment.

Dr. Sakla is an avid Chicago sports fan and loves to root for the Bulls and Bears. He enjoys staying active by working out and playing basketball, traveling, and volunteering with his church and community. He is married and has a young son.
