Ioulia (Julie) Christopoulos, PT, DPT has over ten years of clinical experience and has been with the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute since 2015. Julie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2008 and has since worked in an orthopedic setting with Athletico.
Julies primary focus has been in working with the pediatric and performing arts populations. Julie regularly attends continuing education seminars focusing on areas such as the foot and ankle, manual therapy, and the Graston technique.
Julies interest in treating performing arts patients has allowed her to work with the Joffrey Ballet, Broadway in Chicago, the Hubbard Dance Street studios. She has participated in U.S. dance health screenings within the Chicagoland area and served as a medical volunteer for several Chicago Marathons. She is also a Physical Therapy Certified Instructor through Northwestern University, where she has mentored Physical Therapy interns by helping further develop their knowledge and experience in the field.
Julies other accomplishments include being certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and the Graston technique. In her spare time, Julie enjoys staying active by participating in outdoor activities with her husband and twin boys.
