Kyle Walenta, PT, DPT has over 2 years of clinical experience and has been with the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute since 2021. Kyle received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2019 and worked in an orthopedic setting with Concentra before joining the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute team.
Kyle's primary focus is to continue specializing in treatment of the foot and ankle. He regularly attends continuing education seminars focusing on functional treatment, improving athletic performance, and staying up to date with the most current scientific research. Kyle is very passionate about physical therapy research and has been published as a co-author in the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Canada.
Kyle's other accomplishments include being certified as a Champion Performance Specialist and he will soon be pursuing training in both instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and other advanced practice techniques such as BFR training. He is quite active in his spare time, playing soccer, enjoying Lake Michigan, and hiking. Kyle and his wife Sofia are excited to be moving back to Grand Rapids, where they both grew up, and to give back to the community.
